1. Service description

Laup.ai provides tools that help retailers, webshops and product brands understand and improve how AI systems perceive them. The AI Readiness Scanner analyzes how AI systems read your publicly accessible website content and returns readiness scoring, technical analysis (robots.txt, sitemaps, schema markup, content visibility) and AI-generated recommendations. AI visibility is an optional feature that monitors how AI engines recommend your domain versus competitors across product categories.

2. Eligibility

The service is intended for businesses. A business email address is required to create an account. Free email providers (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.) are not accepted.

3. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when creating your account.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Only scan websites you are authorized to analyze.
• Do not abuse the scanner (excessive automated requests, attempting to scan internal/private addresses).

4. What we analyze

Laup.ai analyzes publicly accessible website content only. We do not access password-protected pages, private APIs, or internal systems. The website data we analyze (HTML, robots.txt, sitemaps, schema markup) is the same data that any web browser or search engine crawler can access.

For AI visibility, we additionally send prompts to third-party AI engines and record their publicly returned responses to measure how those engines recommend your domain and competitors. This analyzes the AI engines' output, not your private systems.

5. AI visibility (optional)

AI visibility is an optional feature you choose to enable. By opting in, you agree to how and why we operate it: to measure your AI visibility we periodically send prompts to third-party AI engines and record their responses, on a recurring schedule, for the domains and product categories you choose to track. You acknowledge that this involves querying external AI providers on your behalf and that the resulting data is processed and stored to power your dashboards. You can disable tracking at any time from your settings.

Where we label an engine "ChatGPT", we query the OpenAI API with web search enabled as the closest available proxy for the ChatGPT app. Results can differ from the consumer app in phrasing and personalisation.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans (Basic and Pro) are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown on our pricing page and are stated excluding VAT. Laup is not yet VAT-registered; VAT will be added once we register. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and we do not refund partial periods. We may change plan prices or features with reasonable notice, taking effect at your next renewal.

7. Free trial

New companies may start a 14-day free trial of AI visibility with no payment details required. A trial covers one domain within a limited prompt and engine allowance, and begins when you finish onboarding your domain. One free trial is available per company email domain. When the trial ends your dashboard stays available read-only until you choose a paid plan, and tracking pauses until then.

8. Accuracy

AI readiness scores and AI visibility metrics are based on sampling and automated analysis. They provide a directional assessment, not a guarantee. Results may vary between runs as website content and AI engine responses change. Recommendations are AI-generated and should be evaluated by qualified professionals before implementation.

9. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in activity that harms other users or our infrastructure.

10. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Laup.ai is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: decisions made based on scan results, changes to your website based on recommendations, or temporary unavailability of the service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
